Rider, Spectator & Volunteer Information –

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!

Please take the time to carefully read this document – we need everyone’s full cooperation to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.

Address of the track - Merton Saints BMX Track, Acacia Road, Mitcham, CR4 1ST

9.00am -11.00am

OPEN PRACTICE
(rider will be scanned in during practice lap) LUNCH BREAK (Track closed)
MOTOs, QUARTERS, SEMI FINALS & FINALS

11.00am – 11.30pm 11.30pm - 17.00*pm *Approx timing subject to delays

Parking - We have some parking available at St Mark’s school opposite the track, this will be £5 - CASH only, please bring the exact money if possible. (The school is charging us over £500 to use their space, so we are not making any money!).
The school has been very reluctant to let us use their space for parking due to a recent incident when a car reversed into and smashed the whole glass front of their sixth form centre.
Please be very careful on site, especially around the glass doors which will be taped and coned off. If there is any damage we will certainly not be allowed to use the school again.

The main car park entrance is on the left, just before the track. When this is full we will direct cars past the track entrance to around the back of the school. For those parking at the back of the school the front gates will be open at the end of the day - so please exit towards the main road.

As space is limited please consider ride sharing or coming by train - Mitcham Eastfields station is only a 2 minute walk from the track.

Otherwise you can park on local side streets. DO NOT PARK on the local estate, this is for residents only and parking here will severely limit our ability to hold future events. We had complaints after a recent club event about people parking on the pavement and also blocking in local residents - so please be mindful and park sensibly.

Catering - We will have a pizza van on site for the day, who will also be selling water and cold drinks: https://www.facebook.com/ristovan/?ref=bookmarks
They take cash and card depending on phone reception, so cash is advisable.
We will also have the ice cream van - who also only takes cash, so it’s worth bringing some cash for the day.

Covid safety: Before you leave to come to the track you must perform a COVID-19 Self- Assessment. DO NOT travel to the track if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • ●  High temperature (Over 37.8 degrees centigrade)
